PHARMACIST – FOURWAYS, GAUTENG

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality pharmaceutical services, financial objectives, legislative requirements and compliance as well as people management requirements are achieved.
Private Healthcare (Hospital Setting)
DUTIES / EXPECTATIONS AND OUTPUTS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Report all medication incidents as well as developing and implementing of remedial actions.
Reporting of all pharmacy alerts and develop and maintain remedial actions as well as the completion of a quarterly trends analysis.
Participate in the implementation and compliance of quality management systems.
Ensure compliance with DOH, SAPC and group legal and professional standards.
Participate in achieving required customer service levels in both theatre and wards.
Implement pharmacy quality and customer satisfaction initiatives.
• Ensure effective financial-, product-, asset- and people management.
B.Pharm, Dip. Pharm or B.Sc. Pharm
Current registration with the South African Pharmacy Council
Knowledge of pharmaceutical legislation
Relevant clinical knowledge and experience to achieve duties / critical outputs as set out above.
Comprehensive understanding of pharmacy and related healthcare industries and their legislation, regulations and challenges.
Pharmaceutical product knowledge
Problem-Solving, analysis and good judgement
Attention to Detail
Excellent Interpersonal Skills i.e. relationship building
